Overview:
Anh Noodle Fusion Restaurant Ltd. is seeking a full-time Cook specializing in Vietnamese cuisine for our restaurant in Squamish. This role is suited to a candidate with experience preparing Vietnamese dishes who can maintain food quality and kitchen standards, assist with inventory and food preparation, and contribute to an efficient and positive dining experience for customers.

Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
• Adapt recipes and modify ingredients to accommodate customers’ dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Collaborate with management to design and implement special menu items or seasonal promotions.
• Determine appropriate portion sizes and calculate food costs.
• Handle food preparation for special events, and catering.
• Requisition of food ingredients and kitchen supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure the kitchen and food service areas adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service.

Job Requirements:
• 2 years of experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Demonstrated skills and hands-on experience in preparing Vietnamese cuisine (e.g., noodle soups, rice dishes, stir-fries and grilled items); prior experience in a Vietnamese restaurant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods with safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team, proficiency in Vietnamese is an asset.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands, including special menu requests or dietary modifications.
