We are looking for a passionate cook to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, delicious, and high-quality dishes while adhering to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards. They will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment and collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Job Description – Cook
• Prepare and cook recipes according to established standards
• Perform daily prep work (cutting, preparing, cooking, assembling)
• Portion, package, and label ready-to-eat products
• Ensure the quality, freshness, and presentation of food
• Strictly adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Maintain clean and compliant work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Check expiry dates and implement stock rotation (FIFO)
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and smooth production
• Participate in receiving and storing merchandise as needed
• Apply internal procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of operations
This position is for an independent, efficient, detail-oriented individual who is motivated by teamwork.
The proposed salary is $19.43/hour.
Requirements
• Relevant experience in cooking or food preparation (a significant asset)
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Team spirit and a positive attitude
• Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends as needed)
• A minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience is required
• Fluency in French is required for this position.
