Salary: $36.60/Hourly

We specialize in quality exterior finishing renovations, repairs and installations on residential and commercial projects all over the Mainland Area. We are looking to hire more Contraction Supervisors to meet the demand of our expanding business.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Supervise, coordinate and be able to perform the following tasks: apply paint, industrial coatings, caulking, sealers and/or other finishing materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fiberglass, metal coating, epoxy, polyurethanes, cementitious compounds or fire-retardant using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with the intention of repair, restore and/or protect surfaces and/or structures
• Supervise apprentices, helpers, and laborers in related trades
• Plan and organize work schedules to meet deadlines and coordinate with other subcontractors
• Identify and resolve work-related issues, recommending improvements in productivity and quality
• Order and manage materials and supplies required for projects
• Train workers on job duties, safety practices, and company policies
• Recommend staffing decisions such as hiring and promotions
• Prepare and maintain reports on work progress and project status
• Make sure health and safety regulations are followed

Job requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School;
• Several years of experience in trade occupation or 1 year experience in trade occupation combined with several years of other supervising experience;
• Be a team player and feel comfortable to work independently;
• Be able to supervise painting crew of 5-10 people;
• Work under pressure;
• Organized, excellent oral communication;
• Be prepared to work on various job sites;
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is an asset;
