Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced
Child Care Provider to join our family, caring for our two daughters aged 4 and 6 years old. The Child Care Provider will be responsible for the health and well-being of our children while engaging them in age-appropriate activities within a safe environment.

Job Duties:
1. Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence 2. Plan, prepare and serve meals for children 3. Organize, activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings 4. Teach children in personal hygiene and social development 5. Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer 6. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Terms of Employment: 30-40 Hours a week

Language of Work: English,
French or enrollment in french class is a bonus

Wage: $21 per hour; Incremental raises, performance pay, or bonuses to be discussed upon hiring. Please note, the starting wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage.

Location of Work: Verdun, QC

Skills Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school or equivalent
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or household management
– First Aid Certificate and CPR Training
– Solid understanding of child development stages
– Excellent ability to handle emergency situations
– Proven patience and understanding when dealing with children
