Position: Child Care Provider (Nanny)

A private home is seeking an experienced nanny to care for two school-aged children.

Duties:

Shop for groceries, plan and prepare dinners;

Keep the children’s rooms clean and tidy;

Supervise the children for homework from schools and extracurricular programs;

Assist employer to develop study plans and schedules for the children;

Supervise and discipline the children as requested by the employer;

Tend to the emotional well-being of the children;

Pick children up from the school or such places as the employer requires;

Keep records of daily activities of the children.

Qualifications required:

At least one year of experience in caring for children.

Formal training in child education and/or child care.

Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods.

Strong communication skills and multitasking abilities

Professional manner in all situation.

A pleasant, positive and patient personality.

Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision.

Classification: Full-time, 35 hours per week, working from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to

Friday.

Salary and benefits: $25 per hour

5 days of paid vacation
