Job duties:
• Assist children in getting ready for school in the morning
• Drop children off at school and pick them up after school
• Pack school lunches and snacks
• Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
• Guide children in personal hygiene and daily routines
• Support emotional development and encourage positive behavior
• Assist with homework and learning activities
• Organize age-appropriate games, crafts, reading, and outings
• Transport children to appointments, and extracurricular activities
• Follow parental guidelines for discipline and behavior management
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for children
• Occasionally prepare meals for the entire family
• Manage children’s laundry and ensure clothing is clean and organized
• Keep children’s rooms tidy and organized
• Perform daily cleaning of shared household areas (kitchen, bathrooms, living room)
• Keep records of children’s daily activities and health information if requested
• Accompany family on vacations (optional and compensated)
Terms of employment:
• Permanent, full – time position
• Hours: During school year: 6 to 10 am and 3:30 to 6:30 pm – Monday to Friday, hours may vary during summer months.
• Live-in Arrangement available (optional) at no cost: employee will be accommodated with a bedroom (equipped with inside bolt, lock and key), a shared washroom and have access to common spaces within the residence.

Wage: $20.85/hour

Education:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Nanny/ Child Care certification
Work experience:
• 1 years of childcare experience in a private home
• Experience in cooking meals and preparing lunches and school snacks
