Child Caregiver / Home Support Full Time NEW

We are a family here in South East Calgary who is searching for a full time child caregiver for our 10-years-old son with special needs and 5 years old daughter to work from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. We offer the wage of 20.83/hour, some overtime on Friday nights and weekends. Overtime rate of 1.5 times employee’s regular wage will be paid if employee works more than 44 hours per week.  Extended medical insurance will also be offered.

Completion of High School or Secondary School or equivalent.  Must speak English. Applicant has worked as a full time caregiver or in a related occupation for a minimum of 2 years(including 6 months with the same employer) during the past 5 years and experience with a child that has special needs.  Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.  Note:  This is NOT a condition of employment.

Job responsibilities and duties includes supervision and care for our child. Organize activities such as games, outings and reading.  Prepare and serve nutritious meals.  Maintain a safe and healthy environment at home.  Perform light housekeeping, Assume full responsibility for the household on our absence. Instruct our child personal hygiene and social development. Discipline our child based on the method we request.
