Skyscraper Construction & Cement Finishing Ltd is rapidly growing and is looking for two Cement Finishers to join our team.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience
2 years to less than 3 years.

Noisy, Dusty, At heights, Outdoors.

Work setting
Construction. Commercial.

Own tools/equipment
Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Hard hat.

Tasks

 Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
 Loan, unload, and transport materials
 Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
 Direct placement of concrete into form or onto surfaces according to grade
 Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
 Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
 Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
 Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
 Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
 Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
 Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
 Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
 Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
