Carver NOC 53124 Full Time

We are expanding! We are looking for a carver who can sculpt mascots using foam, by interpreting artwork designs and translating into finished products that a person can actually wear. Yes, Mascots are alive!
-Experience carving/building mascot heads, bodies, shoes, props, and accessories using etha, ester, and plastazote foams or other subtractive sculpting experience or expert wood worker
-Familiar and comfortable using tools (Olfa knives, band saw, heat gun, dremmel) spray glues, flex bond, and various paints
-Able to create facial features/accessories out of screen, plastics, and foams including moulding, masking, and spray/hand painting
-Good technical math skills and ability to pattern out shapes
-Comfortable drawing and/or interpreting 2D rotational drawings into end product
-Experience with soldering wires, general electric work
-Detail oriented and focused
–Photoshop/ Illustrator knowledge
-Positive team player
-Can multi-task in fast paced environment
-Independent
