Carpenter Full Time NEW

Emmanuel Concrete is looking for one (1) Carpenter to join our Calgary team! This position is a permanent full-time position located in Calgary, Alberta. Job sites are throughout the Calgary metro area.
Job duties include:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
-Build and install foundations and beams and erect walls and roof systems
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding, other forms
-Maintain, repair, renovate structures
-Supervise other trades on site as directed by management and project needs
Education:
-Completion of secondary school
-Completion of apprenticeship or other Carpenter training is an asset
Compensation:
-$34.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval
Experience Required:
-1 to 2 years of direct Carpenter experience on construction sites
