Carpenter Full Time NEW

Keystone Concrete Works Inc is looking for one (1) Carpenter to join our Calgary team! This position is a permanent position and is in the English language. Work locations vary throughout the Calgary area.

Job duties include:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Prepare layouts as per building codes using measuring tools
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood and other materials
-Do rebar cutting, fabrication and installation
-Build foundations, install floor beams and sub floors, walls and roof systems
-Do concrete walls/ foundations and carpentry cribbing work
-Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures
-Supervise other construction workers on site

Education:
-Completion of secondary school
-Completion of apprenticeship or other Carpenter training
-Several years of experience as a qualified carpenter

Compensation:
-$40.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval

Experience Required:
-2 to 3 years of direct Carpenter experience on construction sites
