Caregiver for Senior Full Time

Full time:35.00 hours/week
Languages: Proficiency in English Required, Mandarin is an asset
Education Requirement: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: minimum of 1 year of experience or relevant training/qualifications
Security and Safety: Medical exam, Criminal record check
Work Location Information: GTA, Work in employer’s home
Accommodation: Not provided/Own
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Duties:
– Provide daily care and companionship for elderly male with chronic disease (COPD)
– Provide assistance and aid when visiting doctor, pickup prescription, bathing, dressing, moving on and off a wheelchair, etc.
– Perform regular housekeeping and cleaning duties, such as laundry, dishes and making bed
– Plan and prepare meals and nutritious snacks base on special needs of receiver of care
– Read prescriptions, prepare daily medication, and supervise take of medicine
– Assistant with collecting specimens under the direction of medical nurse for examinations
