Job Description and Qualifications:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Baker to join our team at Pizza Delight, Just Fries, Manchu Wok, and Cafe Depot MUN University Food Court.

Job Duties:
• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Bake mixed dough and batters.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Prepare special orders.
• Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• Draw up production schedules.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• Operate machinery.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Skills (education, experience):
• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for bakers or completion of college or other program in baking or food safety or 6 months of experience in the food service industry

Language of Work: English

Wage: $16.00/hour

Hours: Minimum 30 hours a week
