JOB TITLE: Baker
JOB DESCRIPTION: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Bake mixed dough and batters. Prepare special orders. Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods. Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards. Operate machinery. Organize and maintain inventory
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in baking or a related area, OR equivalent experience.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong work ethic, be reliable, be a team player, and be able to walk and stand for long periods
LANGUAGE: English
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-time temporary (1-year initial term)
SALARY: $17.60 hourly. Overtime pay and tips available
BENEFITS: Food Discount. Medical, Dental and Life Insurance benefits available at additional costs but are not mandatory
HOURS: Full-time 30-40 hours per week. Shift work including nights, weekends, early mornings
