Quattro Restaurant is seeking a Baker for their busy restaurant located in Whistler, British Columbia. Job duties include:
• Make various types of bread products including sour dough, brioche, flax seed loaf, baguettes, flat breads, focaccia and bread sticks;
• Make and decorate cakes, pastries, and other desserts for the a la carte menu;
• Prepare dough and mix and bake ingredients according to company recipes;
• Ensure baked goods produced are of the highest quality and in line with company standards
• Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
• Order ingredients and purchase equipment required for baking breads and making desserts;
• Assist with monthly inventory of baking supplies;
• Oversee sales of baked goods, and ensure enough product is made to match daily sales;
• May oversee, supervise and train kitchen staff as we add more staff to the baking station.
Working Conditions:
• Wage: $20 – $24/hour + gratuities;

• Overtime remitted per Employment Standards of BC;

At least two years of previous baking experience is required.
