A traditional overnight camp for kids, ages 7 – 16, Walden offers the best of both worlds – the classic, loved summer camp of the past, adapted to the needs of today’s children and parents. Position

We are in a remote location, but don’t worry, we will help you get here! There are no drugs! No alcohol! Communal living and hard work! We hire staff from all over the world from a variety of backgrounds. One of our programs is primarily comprised of Jewish campers – staff with antisemitic or anti-Isreal beliefs are not invited to apply.
Job Duties
• Help feed 800 people 3 – 5 times daily!
• Be responsible for providing meals and accommodating special diets for campers and camp staff
• Develop menus
• Setting up the dining hall and outdoor patio for daily meals
• Work with, clean, and organize the kitchen and its appliances.
• Maintain Department of Health regulations
• Unload delivery trucks
• Maintain professionalism in the workplace

• No educational requirements!
• No prior experience required!
• No special skills required!

Required Experience/Skills
• We are looking for people who are comfortable working with and around children
• Must be polite and courteous team players
• Eager to be in an active position with physical labour
• Long hours may be involved
• Willing to get a little dirty
• Ready to live and work with fellow staff members cohesively in shared accommodations
