Child Care Provider – Private home Full Time

Full Time in-home caregiver position in charge of children for 2 young children, aged 6 year old and 9 year old.

Work experience:  At least six months’ training or at least one year of full-time paidwork experience as a caregiver or in a related field or occupation (incuding 6 months with one employer) in the past 3 years.

Job Duties:  Childcare and supervision of children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist children’s before and after school activities, help with homework, pack school lunch and provide snacks.

Light Housekeeping and laundry, maintain safe and healthy environment in the home and household.

Work at private home of the employer at 40 hours a week.

Optional private accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.

Good comprehension of English is required – must speak, read and understand English with a level of fluency that enables you to communicate effectively and independently in an unsupervised setting.

Location of the work is in Vancouver, BC.  Address is on West 46th Avenue (between Columbia Street and Manitoba Street), near the Canada Line Sky Train Station.
