We are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate individual to fill the position of Retail Store Supervisor at our very busy location in Angus, ON

Required Qualification:

College, CEGEP or other non university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Must be customer-focused and should have excellent communication skills.
7 months to less than 1 year of work experience in retail industry
Must be customer-focused and should have excellent communication skills.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Able to work in Day and Weekends in fast-paced environment.
Experience in inventory management, pricing, vendor relationship, and management proficiency.
Must have excellent proficiency in computers, MS Office – Excel & Word preferred Emails and Internet.
Job Responsibilities:

Managing cashier functions, cash registry, merchandising and customer service.
Maintaining inventories, managing merchandise, preparing daily sales and expenses information, determining needs to sales promotions.
Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
Preparing schedules for employees to meet the operational requirements.
Protecting employees and customer by providing a safe and clean store environment.
Ensuring cashier/ merchandising staff comply with all guidelines.
Ensuring security systems and measures are in place to secure merchandises.
Resolve customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service.
Check incoming fresh food for quality and quantity of products.
Record shortages and reject damaged goods, co-ordinate with vendors.
Check refrigerator readings, rotation of perishable products, cleanliness of storage areas.
Ensuring standard operational guidelines and policies are followed by employees

Compensation:

Wage: $36.10 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Work Hours: Minimum 35 to 40 hours per week, day shift, and weekends may require.
