Job Description
• Will provide inspirational leadership to all aspects of the College operation, including academic and extracurricular programming, finance and business operations, enrolment management, facility development and management and a major emphasis on advancement (communications, alumni relations, and fundraising).
• Possess and demonstrate a depth of knowledge of education, coupled with clear enthusiasm for working with a 9th – 12th grade community to include students, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to further evolve the advancement programs with an emphasis on garnering financial support for capital improvement and long-term financial stability through an endowment.
• Support and serve as a valued “thought partner” with the Board of Regents in their financial, strategic, and generative leadership responsibilities.
• Drive progress in organizational maturation by developing and aligning the strategic priorities with strategy, structure, human resources, data analysis and change management.
• Lead through influence and persuasion to empower teams to consistently focus on improving the quality of opportunities made available to support student learning.
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships both within the College community and beyond in service to successfully achieving the mission and vision.
• Attract, retain, and further develop high-quality faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Provide regular updates to the Board of Regents on school performance and progress against the multi-year strategic plan.
Qualifications and Experience
• Should have an earned graduate degree (doctorate strongly preferred) in a relevant field such as education, business, or other related discipline.
• Will bring direct experience with legacy or endowment fund development in excess of $75 million.
• Church school experience at a senior management level.
• Demonstrated success in building enrollment in both national and international markets.
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-year capital campaigns in excess of $50 million.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing on multi-year strategic plans and financial plans.
• Experience as a teacher and administrator in Advanced Placement and/or International Baccalaureate programs.
• Demonstrated success at the senior management level in a multi-cultural boarding school setting.
• Demonstrated success in establishing effective partnerships with universities, businesses and other organizations.
• Demonstrated success in strengthening community relationships with alumni
• Demonstrated success in building governance partnerships and contributing to the overall growth of effective board leadership.
• Possess strong financial management skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage change.
• Embrace a collaborative, service-oriented leadership style.
• Possess the personal qualities of integrity, fairness, transparency, and trustworthiness.
• Will be consistently visible, approachable, and genuinely engaged with all College
• stakeholder groups.
