North Technology People is a technical recruitment consultancy based downtown Toronto operating out of 123 Edward Street, Ontario, M5G 0A8 and currently working with some of Canada’s most reputable and well funded tech companies.
As of today, we’re looking to hire a full time/ permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our small and mighty team.
We will be offering a base salary ranging from $45,000 CAD- $55,000 CAD + a very competitive commission structure and you will be working 30 hours per week.
In this role, you will be working with a team of experienced recruiters and have the opportunity to leverage modern talent acquisition tools and technology to connect our clients with the best people.
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for:
-new business development activities
-interviewing & qualifying candidates
-setting up & scheduling interviews
-handling new client job requests
-managing a recruitment pipeline and active job roles
-Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applications
-Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
-Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel
-Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
-Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
-Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
-Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
-Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
-Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
-Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training and provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs
-May supervise personnel clerks performing filing and record-keeping duties
It is expected the successful candidate has the following skills and experience:
-A background in sales and business development
-3-5 years experience as a recruitment consultant (candidate resourcing and business development)
-Excellent communication skills
-An interest and basic understanding of the technology industry
-Work experience as a recruitment consultant (essential)
