• Complete and document production line maintenance requests during assigned shifts.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to detect irregularities, malfunctions, and areas needing repair.
• Repair and replace faulty equipment, tools, and machines in a timely manner to minimize production downtime including Quadrocomil, Urshel slicer, shear pumps.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and complete required maintenance tasks according to the established maintenance schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control circuits, and mechanical failures.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
• Manage and control Ingredient batching software
• Check finished products for defects and ensure conformance to company quality standards.
• Perform corrective machine adjustments to maintain operational continuity.
• Perform machine changeovers as required to facilitate production changes.
• Complete additional facilities or equipment maintenance tasks as required by the maintenance task list or management requests.
• Advise management when maintenance supplies are running low to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all plant rules, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while working in manufacturing facilities.
• Maintain a professional image, including adhering to company uniform standards.
• Qualifications
College, diploma or university degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Exposure to the food manufacturing industry (e.g., fish or sauce production) is preferred.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) training.
• A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop in the role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with electrical and mechanical systems.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on work in a production environment.
• The role will involve significant time on the production floor, ensuring the maintenance and functionality of machines and equipment.
• Occasional administrative tasks related to quality assurance, documentation control, and reporting.
• Work environment includes exposure to industrial machinery, potentially loud environments, and factory conditions and exposure to onion, horseradish, fish and other raw ingredients.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and manual labor.
