Liquor Store Clerk Full Time

As the Liquor Store Clerk, your duties will include providing excellent customer service to our clients, while maintaining the store front and ensuring that all aspects of responsible retailing are completed. Part of maintaining the store front includes stocking, rotating and face products, as well as cleaning shelves and/or product as required.
Responsibilities
Provide customers with friendly and efficient service
Assist customers with products, suggest products when appropriate
Monitoring store to help ensure loss prevention
Work cooperatively in a team environment
Being aware of and complying with all Liquor Licensing laws
Cash handling and transactions
Stock Liquor Supplies, including wine, beer and hard liquor. Both in store front and cooler
Face products
General cleaning of shelves, products and other store areas
Balancing and Cash Management functions including performing daily cash-outs
Answer customer queries and complaints in a courteous manner
Other Duties as Assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the Liquor Store

Qualifications
Previous retail experience of at least one year
Product knowledge or previous experience in liquor sales preferred (not required)
Experience operating Fork lift and/or pallet jack
Available to work flexible hours
Communicate effectively with customers and staff
Work in a fast-paced team environment
Stand for extended periods of time
Portray a positive attitude
Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
Physical- Lifting up to 50 lbs. reaching, standing, squatting stooping/bending, walking, and turning
Mental- judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions, memorizing, reading, writing, math/counting currency.
