• Develop and deliver engaging and effective meat cutting Training Program with new hires and current Production Employees.
• Create and maintain a safe professional learning environment.
• Evaluate New Hires progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Demonstrate to New Hires, the correct care and usage of knives including sharpening techniques and maintenance of the blade.
• Provide Production employees instruction in the performance of assigned tasks required as per Harmony Beef’s Standard Operating Procedure, including proper meat cutting methods, equipment use and techniques.
• Coordinate and control activities on table is done according to Harmony Beef’s Product Specification and time studies.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also comfortable in a team environment.
• Follow sanitation standards to prevent meat contamination.
• Work well under pressure and meet the demands of the business with professionalism.
• Provide and Suggest feedback to Fabrication and Harvest Superintendent improvements, techniques to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing All Fabrication and Harvest positions. Ie Clod Pulling, Chuck Boning, Tender Pulling, Rib Boning, Top Butt Boning, Top Round Dropping etc.
• Minimum 10 years of meat cutting and 5 years of training experience in a beef processing plant or similar facility is preferred
• Must have a reliable transportation as the plant is not accessible to public transportation.
