Employment requirements
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the Director’s calendar, and coordinate meetings.
• Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and manage software licensing.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail distribution.
• Set up and maintain filing systems, both manual and computerized, to ensure efficient document management.
• Arrange travel schedules, make reservations, and coordinate logistics for the Director.
